These monthly pláticas (gatherings), led by Sussy Santana are FREE and open to all Latino/Latina/Latinx people and bilingual allies. Hablamos español and we also speak English and Spanglish.

Our drumming and percussion circle this year is only for intermediate and advanced drummers and will be led by Master Drummer, Jesús Andujar. Bring your own drum or instrument if you have one; we can provide drums if you don't have one. Maximum 8 participants. Pay $30 for the first three sessions, and afterwards, you pay $10 per class. | Register here

We need at least four people to register for all our classes. We will adhere by all COVID-19 health requirements — masks are optional, however, If you have not yet been vaccinated, please wear a mask.

Some people describe a Fiambre as a Colombian tamale. They're not exactly the same, but they look alike because they are wrapped in a banana leaf. Learn the story behind them, how to make them, and enjoy a cooking circle filled with conversation.
