Call for Art | RI250

Exhibition: February – April 2026 | Public Art, Oral Histories, & Performances: July 4–5, 2026
RILA invites Latinx artists of all ages, genders, disciplines, and cultural backgrounds—and welcomes participation from other artists of color—to submit artwork and personal narratives responding to the RI250 theme: Freedom, But for Whom? Our History from the American Revolution to Today.
As the state prepares to commemorate 250 years since the founding of the United States, we ask artists and storytellers to reflect on the promises of liberty and equality—promises that inspired generations, yet left many unheard, unrecognized, or excluded.
